Ryu Hyun-woo, a former North Korea’s acting ambassador to Kuwait, has fled to South Korea in 2019. He is not the first, not the last, diplomat from North Korea who will no longer appear in Pyongyang.

What is the life of a such “premium” defector in South Korea?
