Three months labor for Choe Son Hui, the North Korea’s first vice minister of foreign affairs

In a recent article of DailyNK.com, we were informed that Choe Son Hui, the adopted daughter of Choe Yong Rim, a former Prime Minister of North Korea, was sent to three months labour service out of Pyongyang. Choe Son Hui is an experienced North Korean diplomat. It is not a surprise, taht she was sent to a Labor Camp. It is a standard mechanism of the North Korean Political System. North Korean senior politicians do have a lot of privileges (including owning luxurious flats in major Chinese cities), but they do also know that they cannot create a circle of politician support.

This English speaking lady was also often involved in North Korean-American affairs.

Her biographical sketch is available here.
